(Entry Nr. 363, by user 1 | edit)
First, I installed bluez-gnome. Im not sure if it really is needed:
apt-get install bluez-gnome

As suggested on several websites, I downloaded and copied these 3 files to /etc/ppp/peers/ :
gprs
gprs-connect-chat
gprs-disconnect-chat

hcitool scan will find the mobile phone and show its mac address.
